With the Boost model, Polaris brought a lot of new innovation to the snowmobile industry. Specifically the way they control the turbo to maximize the horsepower by utilizing the bypass valve in the pipe was quite clever indeed. We took this dynamic new design a step further by optimizing the flow characteristics of our silencer to deliver 2 horsepower more on peak with greater throttle response through the midrange. This silencer is our “Competition Series” design for maximum weight savings. Also available in our "Quiet" version utilizing a silenced bypass tube. Horsepower, weight savings and running consistency like you have come to expect from SLP.

Give your sled an extra boost in performance! This silencer reduces weight by 7.2 lbs, adds 2 horsepower and provides better throttle response, and delivers a rich full sound. It passes the SAE J-2567 sound test below 88 decibels.

SLP Silencer

Besides the fact they sent me the wrong one, and none of the hardware to install it, I received the regular "lightweight silencer" instead of the "competition silencer". They were super easy to get a hold of, their customer service was great, they offered to send me the proper one, but I opted to keep the one they sent. They shipped all the hardware and received it in two days. The silencer is working great so far, with no issues.
